Sherrose POV

I rode had to the palace just in time to get ready for dinner. Mei came to assist me, I wore a royal blue off the shoulder evening gown that flared out from the waist out sweeping the floor even in my navy blue kitten hills. My hair was pinned into a bundle of curls at the top of head leaving a few stray stands carefully placed around my face,

I had on light evening makeup on and a magic lipstick that stained my lips a deep pink even after eating.

I patiently waited at the doors of the kings elivator for him. He very rearly left his wing in the last year and if he did it was in his mobile electric chair. So imagine my shock when his magistey walked out of the elivator on his cane.

" Your magistey what are you doing exerting yourself like this where is your chair?" i asked rushing to his side but he just shook my hand of and scolded.

" I'm still the king and I intent to use my own two feet to get to dinner, I will be alright child, I spoke to my physicians and they have given me injections to get me through the night. Now come let's not keep our guests waiting." he said as we jumped into the golf cart and began to head to the dinning room, without looking at me he said

." You have been crying. I'd like to know why during brunch tomorrow. " not even giving me time to deny it. I guess he knows me better than I think or his learned to speak to animals.

We reached the dinning room doors and I placed my hand on the Kings arm.

“ Nerves of steal my gemstone and please call me Papa from now on.” He said tenderly and he pattered my arm and smiled lovingly.

“Thank you Papa. “ I said as my eyes sparkled with joy and I felt secure.

The doors flew open and the cryer announced as we entered into dinning hall.

Presenting His Magistey the King of Eden King Charles and His hier to the throne of Eden Princess Sherrose

Everyone rose and bowed, as we reached our seats and began to sit down. Seeing that his magistey needed time to catch his breath I took lead in turning the attention to me to distract everyone.

"Good evening, I hope you are all rested. King Angus, we hardly spoke when you arrived, I do hope you rested enough to share your entertaining stories I have sorely missed them." I said in a sweet melodic voice that earned me a smile from Lady Devonshire.

I glanced around the table as I was assisted into my seat. was seated to the right of the King and to my right sat Prince Jason followed by lady Desera, Master Wong, the Marque, Duchess silver and the duke And King Angus on the kings left followed by Prince Shaquil, Gareth and Lady Crisselda and lady Devenchire, Master Rahul and lady Eleanor.

Laughingly King Angus said," I certainly have rested in fact I always feel more alive in Eden and I am pleased to hear that you have not changed that much that you still love to hear me tell you my tales."

smiling king Cheaky chipped in, " I'm afraid we will have to pause the trip into your archives my friend or we will die of hunger. " and on cue food began being served.

I noticed Prince Gareth and Shaquil were staring so I turned to my right to survey the black haired Prince at my side. He wore a navy blue suit with white shirt and royal blue bowtie.

“ Seems you finally got the memo. You learn fast Prince Jason. “ I said as I forked some food into my mouth.

“I’m not a barbarian, Princess.” He said rolling his eyes. Causing me to giggle behind my napkin.

" So lovely to see you again princess, It’s been years and I heard you have become quit involved in Eden, are you ready to take over the reigns " Prince Shaquil asked from across the table.

" Oh brother I doubt the princess wants to talk about all that she is not even crowned yet let her enjoy her freedom" Gareth chimed in.

"Actually!" I said a little loud turning all heads to me "I have been preparing to take on most of the ruling of Eden for some time now and , my people really believe in me and Papa said I’m ready." I said calmly with a smile.

Patting my hand King Cheaky said," You will make a fine crown princess, and we will all be here to guide you so don't worry princess. "

Clearing his throat King Angus said," I can attest to that but let's not make the princess blush cause this is a topic that only have praises, like the time I won the hunting party."

Lucky the topic changed and everyone focused on king Angus for which I was greatful.

Everyone became absorbed in different conversations by the time dessert came,

master Rahul and lady Elinor and the duke and Duchess conversed with one another, and Master Wong and Master Will spoke quietly.

Lady Davenshir and Lady Crisselda and lady Desera were absorbed in some talk about finishing schools and Gareth was on a debate with Shakes again while the two kings sat reliving the old days. I sat eating my mulva pudding and chocolate ice cream listening to the tales, when Prince Jason spoke.

“You seem to be enjoying that tale.” He said into my ear almost.

“It’s one of my favorite ones cause King Charles and him always end up debating about who was the best” I say with a giggle.

“You have heard them all before.? “ He asked raising his perfect eye brow.

“Yes, King Angus and the Prince’s use to visit 3 years ago for two weeks every third month “ I replied looking up at Gareth and Shaquil only to catch them both staring

“Is something the matter? “ I asked doing my best to keep my voice devoid of emotion. They both just shook their heads and looked down.

“You could have let them drool a little longer, you know.” Prince Jason responded with a small laugh.

“Don’t be dramatic nobody is drooling over me, let alone those two.” I said scrunching my nose up and frowned as I did when upset

Lady Elinor quickly caught my look and drew my attention "Are you ohkay Princess? You look beautiful tonight. " all eyes again turned to me as I smiled

, " I'm fine lady Elinor, and thank you but I do believe that I need some fresh air." I said looking towords His Magistey who nodded,

" as long as you take a guard and baggie with, I fear Angus and I have more catching up to day and you can show everyone around the night garden you designed, I'm sure they will love it." it was more a hint that he wanted to discuss bored stuff and needed the none members and myself out of the way than anything.

" Not for us, travel has made us tired,” Said the duke and Duchess.

“ Oh, what a shame, please allow Mary to show you to your chambers." I quickly said as I stood and Mary appeared.

“ Unfortunately baggie is gone on a hunt with Hunter but I will get Rj to arrange a few guards and get Mei to accompany us, see you tomorrow Papa." I said giving his magistey a quick kiss on the cheak before walking to the exit to meet Rj and Mei as the others said thier fairwells.

PRINCE JASON’S POV

The princess looked breath taking as she entered the room, the definition of elegance, she covered for the King pretty well and distracted everyone so they would not realize his Magisty was fading.

She was seated to my left and she smelled like cocobutter and pernache.

The two Princes were drooling the entire time as if they have never seen her in their lives.

“ Seems you finally got the memo. You learn fast Prince Jason. “ she said actually looking for a fight, the little flower has thrones it seems.

“I’m not a barbarian, Princess.” I said rolling his my eyes. Causing her to giggle behind my napkin. Why did it sound so attractive though?

The two idiots across the table had to spoil my fun, asking silly questions to which she actually handled brilliantly.

Conversation changed and I found myself absorbed in watching her enjoy the stories Kind Angus and Kind Cheaky told, as if she was part of it.

Dam so they must have been close but something must have happened cause she almost snapped when she caught them staring. I say to myself thinking I better try and calm her.

“You could have let them drool a little longer, you know.” I whisper with a small laugh.

“Don’t be dramatic nobody is drooling over me, let alone those two.” She says and then does this little scrunching nose thing and frowns.

The wife of the head of the Royal guards seems to notice and now the king has us all going to some silly garden. I expected it to be boring here but going to look at flowers at night is a new boring. If I didn’t have to babysit my cousin I would have gone to bed like the Duke and Duchess

As we exit and walk towards the golf carts, I hear a whistle

“Wow Rosie, you look beautiful My Princess.” RJ says as the princess curtseys and grins.

"Everyone this is Rahul Junior, Rj I’m sure you have familiarized yourself with who is who.” She says and she locks arms with him.

“We will be divide up into two carts, Myself, Princess, Prince Jason, and the lovely betroths in one and Prince Shaquil, Gareth, Lady Criselda and Miss Mei will ride with James over there.” Rj said witb a serious face

We all got on and the princess seated herself next to me, and the drive began I never realized how Huge this castle was.

“Are you ready for Sunday? Master Wong and Hunter have been training, You know it won’t be easy.” She said to Rj. She must be talking about the trails.

“Yes I am. Infact I think I will be head ow your guards. “ He replied with a wink as we pulled up outside a large set of double doors.

“hey, Rj let me spar with you, you know I will beable to help master Wong trained me just as long as Hunter.” She was saying in a half whisper before Rj pulled her aside to scold her. The two really did act like siblings. .

So the princess knew how to fight now this was news to me. I was starting to like her more and more, I wonder what else she was good at.
