I was listening as well when Tate set down with Caroline by his side, I wasn't a bit upset with Jannie and Caroline they all talked about this once they got to know each other, they now were best friends, when her thoughts got interrupted by Caroline asking what we should do, she remembered what Hayley had said to her,
“Tate, i need to tell you something that the Queen had told me, I rejected Con and i felt nothing the mark on my neck have been a scar for how long i do not know, but it has been gone, She told me she will be stripping Con from his title and you will now be the alpha, he wasn't a good alpha Tate, i don't know what happened to him, but all he wants is power, and once that happens, it all goes down hill, Tate understood, I will link all the pack but Con, let them know what is going on, but until then we have to keep a look out for that other one that wants to kidnap you, you won't stand a chance Jasmine, once Con knows hes not alpha anymore, he won’t give two rats ass about you, so right now the pack knows i am the new alpha, Con is not, so now we have to figure out what the hell is going on and if this alpha is coming to try and grab up Jasmine, just remember Con does not know any of this, so let’s get this plan started, once he comes and his girl takes Con in the room to seduce him, we grab her and wait for him to try and grab Jasmine, this is going to be tricky but i think we can do this, what we need to do now is tell Hayley not to tell Con just yet, we need this plan to work, we all agreed to this,

I called on my mate Cindy, she knew it was time to get ready, we had everything planned, either Con bows down to me and gives his pack up or Jasmine will die, But first my mate had to lure him in a room to seduce him, i don’t like this plan at all, but she thought of it and said it will work, what does all alphas want when it comes to their pack, power, thats what they want, i knew she was right,she walked into the office with dark blue off the shoulder gown, her hair was in curls around her face, she had hoop earrings and a long necklace around her neck, she looked fabulous, it almost made me forget about what is making me go to this annual mating ball, I didn't mean to betray Jannie, even though i told her when she came back she would be my chosen mate. but once i found Cindy, i knew she was my mate, she agreed to do this only because i wanted the pack for myself, she tried to talk me out of it, but she couldn't convince me not to, she is a lovely lady, she loves the pack and helps in every way she can, she even helped built a meeting hall, so if we had a meeting with serval packs then we could meet in the hall, it was very nice, our pack was growing all because of her, i was starting to think taking over Cons pack was useless now since ours were growing and all we needed is to cut down a few trees to make our land bigger, she was standing there in front of me,
“Are you ready to head out, some of the unmated has already driven off they are ready to meet their mates to bring them home, i'm glad we built on a few more houses, i think we are going to need them Cindy had said,”
“I agree, i stood up my tie still not tied, she reached to tie it but i moved out of the way,
“no leave it be, i like how it looks on me,” she giggled taking it off my neck,
“Honey, if you want to look sexy unbutton a few top buttons, let that tattoo show,” smirking i unbutton the two buttons, shaking her head taking my hand to lead me outside to the car, i wanted to tell her not to worry about trying with Con, i will take care of him myself,” we drove off toward The Red Mountain Pack hoping some of the pack will meet their mates, so we can hurry in leave and come back home, i had her legs over my lap in the car while the driver drove the car, i played with her feet while she set back to enjoy the ride,

i was trying to get Lex to hunt for a few rogues before we left but he knew what i was doing, i was stalling to go, I did all the paperwork made phone calls and looked through my emails to make sure noone has emailed me for a meeting, there was one that was fighting over land, that will have to wait until i got back, i set back looking at the time, it was already nine at night and the ball should be in full swing by now i might as well get my ass up and get going, i was already showered in dressed, i wasn't wearing a suit, i was wearing bluejeans and a black button up shirt, i had the first two buttons unbuttoned that showed off my neck tattoo, the tattoos on my hands clashed with the black shirt showing them off, my dark hair was in a man bun, my beard was trimmed, I guess i was ready to go, Lex was ready to go with my Gamma and delta, Russ and Roy My sister Carrie walked into the office and said, to me,
“It's about time, are you ready to go now” or do you want to keep stalling” the time we get their the first night will be over,” I couldn't help but laugh my sister knew me all to well she could always tell when i didn't want to go somewhere,
“Alright fine, let's get out of here, the faster we get there. the faster we can come back, sis I hope you find your mate tonight, but if he thinks he's going to prance into this pack hes got another thing coming he has a lot to prove before then, she shook her head,
“come on i want to get there before the earth turns again, we all laughed got into our cars the unmated followed us, it was about an hour drive, when we got there, there were so many packs there, in the party was in full swing, i saw a few that found their mates, and they were going at it in their cars, damn, couldn't they wait until they got home, i saw Roy holding my sisters hand, She was looking up at him smiling,

“Dude i’m sorry, but i been feeling the connection since yesterday, i couldn't help it,
Carrie looked over at me, smiling,
:Fine fine, but i do not want to know any details and you better treat her right, she is the future Alpha of our pack if i don't find a mate,
We all walked inside, Russ and I went to the bar i needed a drink a strong one at that after i found out my sister and friend were mates, i asked for a brandy with two shots vodka please, the bartender gave me two, i downed them and asked for two more, i downed those as well, Russ did the same, but he turned sniffing the air,
“go ahead man go get her, he nodded and went to find the one he smelled, i turned looking around the hall, there were so many that were here, it made me wonder how many packs that were here tonight, i was looking around when i smelled her scent, my wolf Napa was going nuts, mate, mate is here we need to find mate, her scent was strong, it smelled of mint and melons, very nice mixture, i knew i wasn't drunk so i knew i wasn't being tricked at all, but i also knew she was here and she was somewhere close i just had to find her, i stood looking around i knew there were so many females here, i thought i would just mingle and hope i would run into her, i couldn't wait to meet her, and hold her in my arms, its about time i found her,
