Good afternoon, my lord. Are you here to see his lordship?” the footman greeted Andrew at the door. “He’s doing much better today.”
“I’m very glad to hear that, and yes, I am here to see him, but first, I’d like a word with Lady Rivers if she’s available,” Andrew responded, the knot in his stomach tightening.
His evening with his father had been wonderful and informative, but he didn’t think challenging the man he’d seen with Miss Hemshawe the other day was the right way to go for him. First of all, he didn’t even know who the fellow was. The only other idea Andrew had come up with was to ask for more advice, so that’s what he was here to do.
