Chapter Thirty ~July 21~ The only person Diana had time to speak to before the race was her cousin, Audley. He’d come down early to prepare himself and his horse. She quizzed him about how her father was doing, but he hadn’t spoken to him since handing him off to Diana’s mother after they’d returned. Diana looked about the throngs of people, trying to spot him or their coach, but she hadn’t been able to find them anywhere. She sincerely hoped he hadn’t had some sort of relapse.
