Kaira clung onto the arms of her chair as the Glimmer bucked and shook around them. To her right, Tarkus was cursing with an impressive variety given that all his focus was on keeping the ship intact. Suddenly he fell completely silent. His hands flew over the controls and his breath came in short, sharp bursts. Kaira’s heart sank. Something was really wrong with the transition, she could tell that. But what?
