Three hours passed. Kaira gave in to the urge to check the datapad again. She was trying not to check it too often as that just put her more on edge, but the need to know where Tarkus was and what progress he might be making kept overriding her caution. One thing was certain, he’d been getting around. He’d covered a lot of distance, often stopping in a new location for only a minute or two. A couple of times he’d stayed put for a lot longer, which suggested he’d found something he needed. She could have cross-referenced the locations to find out exactly who he was visiting, but she refused the temptation.
