28 Tarkus was ready to go straight to the flight deck, but Kaira insisted they go to the living area for a few minutes until he’d recovered more. He grumbled, but did as she asked. That was another sign he was a lot more shaken up than he was letting on. After a few minutes Tarkus declared himself fine and headed for the flight deck, Kaira trailing him. She wasn’t convinced he was fully recovered, but it was clear he wasn’t willing to wait any longer.
