Kaira slowly blinked her way awake. She silently cursed the insistent alarm which was dragging her out of the sleep she’d taken so long to drop into. She knew it had been at least four hours before she finally dropped off, which meant she’d only been asleep for five hours. Maybe less. She was just thankful she’d thought to set an alarm on her datapad. She certainly wouldn’t have woken naturally anytime soon. Well, she would be grateful she’d set the alarm. Eventually.
