“There were those who didn’t approve of my relationship with Louis or Evaline’s desire to be with a woman. She was punished for said desires and for encouraging mine and Louis’s,” Henry revealed.
“Some people never heard love is love, I guess.” Titus offered a sad smile.
“I don’t understand.”
“The saying,” he told Henry. “The motto. Or is my New York accent the issue?”
“I guess I’m unfamiliar with the turn of phrase.” Henry still looked a bit uncertain. “Evaline and Louis are the whole reason I know love.”
