I went to my boss’s office to get the money I borrowed. No wonder my boss doesn’t like lending money—his helpers just borrow and then leave him. It’s crazy. Their salaries would go to waste if they did that. They’re real pieces of work.
When I got to my boss’s office, I looked around. I didn’t tell my aunt that I was borrowing money from our boss. If she followed suit, I’d be in big trouble with him. My aunt is in the room right now, resting.
I knocked on the door and waited until I heard my boss’s voice. A chill ran through my body when I heard it. It sounded scary, but it was also pleasant to the ears.
