I answered the call while looking at Mhalee.
"Hello?"
"Dad! I heard from the maid that you were hospitalized?" My daughter's worried question greeted me. Even though they were against me having a new love, my children are good-hearted and always concerned, even though they are stationed abroad.
"I'm okay, dear. Don't worry about me." I told my daughter.
"What happened, dad?" She asked me further.
"I just ate something, dear. Daddy is okay now and I'll be going home later." I said to prevent her from worrying further.
