FLASHBACK (CONTINUE)
Minutes passed in silence, thick and heavy, before Igor’s restless spirit defied his own reserve. Without a word, he stepped out of the car, the leather soles of his shoes clicking on the uneven stones leading to the temple stairs. His eyes drank in the ancient carvings, the holy incense curling through sunlit air, each detail etched sharply into his memory.
Then, carried on a gentle breeze, a faint melody reached him—a music so delicate it seemed born of the earth itself. Drawn inexplicably forward, he followed the haunting notes until the temple’s shadows opened onto a hidden lake, its surface shimmering like liquid night under the fading sun.
There she was—a figure as fluid and fierce as the waves themselves, dancing with abandon beside the water’s edge. Her movements were poetry made flesh, a silent song of sorrow and fire that held him captive. His eyes locked onto her ocean depths—wild, free, yet scarred—as if her every step spoke a secret only his soul recognized.
For a moment, time fractured and fell away, leaving only the music, the dance, and the girl who seemed both ghost and goddess amid the twilight. Igor was lost—lost in a storm of fascination and something far older, far deeper than desire.
Then, a voice shattered the spell. “Igor.” He turned sharply, his vision still heavy with the echo of the dance.
When he looked back, the girl had vanished—vanished like a breath of wind, leaving behind only the ripples on the water and the echo of her silent song.
At that moment, a quiet certainty rooted itself deep within him: he had already fallen.
His friend’s voice cut sharply through the heavy silence. “What are you doing here? You didn’t plan to come inside. What changed?” The question carried curiosity tinged with concern, but Igor barely heard it.
Without looking away from the empty space where the girl had vanished, Igor’s voice was low and fierce: “I want her. Let’s go. I need to find her.” The words were resolute — a declaration from a man who had no room for love in his world, yet who did not yet understand the depth of the storm already raging within him.
FLASHBACK (ENDS)
PRESENT TIME
I was searching for her for 3 years like a mad dog, driven by a force I didn’t understand. I don’t know why she had become mine the moment my eyes landed on her, but she had. Before I could speak, before I could touch the boundary that separated us, she vanished into thin air.
No photos. No clues. Nothing but a ghostly imprint left behind to guide my hunt. I don’t care where she is or who she spends her days with. All I know is that she’s mine—and only I can claim her.
I want to protect her. I want to own her pleasures and her pain. I want to ruin her for everyone else so only I remain. This is no longer simple desire—it is a dangerous obsession, a hunger that devours reason. And I will find her, no matter the cost.
