Chapter 2

I was very much surprised at the good news because I least expected to hear such. I couldn't believe that I was gonna get the opportunity of going back to school. "I can't believe this babes, you mean you got a form for the two of, that's so sweet of you Kelly, I owe you millions and billions of appreciation."

Just then, Kelly's phone rang and we paused so that she could pick the call from the anonymous number.

"Wait, what!!!" Kelly exclaimed shockingly and I was so lost because I had no idea of what was happening.

THE WALTER'S BUSINESS EMPIRE.

LATE SIR WALTER ANDREW WALTER ESTATE.

"You mean you didn't do what I asked you to do as my secretary, I asked for only the comprehensive list of the shareholders and you could put up nothing. I hate errors and I'll give you one last grace to go correct that garbage you did in the name of paper work. Scum! Get out now!" The boss James thundering voice could be heard through out the administrative office block as it echoed through every where. The secretary embarrassingly left his office to fix up her mess.

LATER THAT DAY.

AT THE BEER PARLOUR.

"Good afternoon sir, go through the menu and let me know what you need." The angelic voice of the waitress sounded through James' ear that he couldn't seem to get over it.

"Wow! You've got a nice voice, what's your name? I would wanna have you on my bed tonight." James was already feeling aroused and he couldn't help it at all.

"Sorry sir, this is against our company policy and I would just like you to give me your orders so that I could serve you immediately."

"Ohh, sorry my love if I stepped too far, no normal man would resist such a hot and pretty damsel like you. Meanwhile, I think banana smoothie and grilled chicken wings be okay for now." The waitress immediately went over to the other end of the restaurant to get his order. He couldn't wait to have her all to himself and the thought of that alone made him deeply aroused. The curves and perfect body of the waitress was turning him on deeply.

It took a little while before she returned with a tray in hand to attend to the needs of James. He was already drooling over the erotic sight he had formed with his eyes. "Here sir, this is your order, let me know if you need anything else!" The dazzling voice of the waitress brought back James to reality as he had apparently forgotten where he was. He had lost control of himself at the instant as he grabbed the bosom of the waitress not minding they were in the eyes of the the public. "What are you doing sir, I'm gonna call the cops on you right now." The lady was already weak from the battle of trying to free herself from the strong grip of James when some guys stepped in.

"You punk, what the heck are you doing with my girlfriend?" A rough looking guy walked up to James to talk to him but he received a punch to the face from James and that infuriated him so much that he called his boys to beat up James to a pulp.

"I'm sorry sir, it's not gonna repeat again." He couldn't help the moment as he was beaten like a criminal with broken bottles and plates. James had been a very athletic young man so he ceased the opportunity he got to escape immediately. He was already looking dirty and so messed up with blood stains all over his body. He managed to run into his car and that was how he fled.

Kelly had received the call that her grandpa had died. She was so transfixed and confused because she least expected it. She was equally teary and as her best friend, I was there to comfort her.

"Don't worry my love, everything is gonna be alright. I'm here for you and I promise you that I will not leave Kelly. Grandpa is resting peacefully already and you don't need to tear up about it my love." I comforted her because she's been day since day one even when I lacked the strength and courage to move on.

We moved back home quitely because Kelly's mood was spoilt already. I made sure to escort her to her door step before heading back to my own house. It was night already and I didn't want mum to be worried about my whereabout. I got home and luckily, mum wasn't back yet so I decided to go into the bedroom and rest. I couldn't believe that I was gonna go back to school and live the dream that I ever desired and prayed to live.

It was dawn already and I made sure to say my morning prayers, take my bath and I immediately headed towards Kelly's house to know how she was faring. "Hey girl, be good and send my sympathy to them, tell your friend Kelly that I'm gonna come see them later in the evening. Be good my dear and stay out of troubles." I had walked past the kitchen without noticing mum was still around because I felt she was out already.

"Sure mum, I'm gonna be good and you too do have a nice day."

Grandma Lizzy is James's grandmother and she had taken up the responsibility of being a mother figure to him even now he had become a man. The news was all over the press about the bar fight between the billionaire and some touts over a common bar girl. Grandma Lizzy wasn't having any of it as she flew all the way from France to America to warn James sternly.

James was already done with the little grocery shopping he did when he decided to head home. He was shocked and couldn't believe it. He had to pause and think a little about it.
