Chapter 30They returned to campus and ate dinner in a corner of the dining hall so they wouldn’t be bothered. Pidge ate chicken and corn chowder and frowned over his Lit notes while Giant held a turkey and kale wrap in one hand and filled out the lease with the other.
“Do you want to read this before you sign it?” Giant asked.
“No.” Pidge typed in his social security number and his initials and handed back the laptop.
Giant smiled and handed him a plate with a brownie smothered in whipped cream and fudge sauce.
“Do you want some?” he asked through a chocolaty mouthful.
Giant kissed him, licking the roof of his mouth. He pulled away. “Nutrition plan. The last couple weeks involved too many desserts and not enough work-outs.”
“You’re perfect!” Pidge objected indignantly.
Giant smiled.
