Insurrection Fury

Chapter 1: A New Beginning

As he lock his apartment, his phone rings again. "Yeah?" Tatsuo asked and Yui replied "Get your a*s over here now or else" in a threatening voice

"Okay Okay, I'm just locking my apartment. Damn" Tatsuo replied and hangs up the phone then ran towards the exit.

Tatsuo ran as fast as he can, speeding through the streets and passing all civilians walking by.

"Took you long enough, Tatsuo" Yui said as she pulls Tatsuo into an dark alley while eating popcorn

"Yeah, yeah. Shut up. Lets do this" Tatsuo replied as he puts on his half gas mask and his hood

"Excited, I see?" Yui asked as she puts on her cybernetic half mask and ties her hair to a ponytail

"Of course, this is the day I learn who is the person behind my family death" Tatsuo replied as he prepares his grappling hook that are attached to his right arm

"Alright then. Go grapple up that building across the street. Our intel says your person is on the 6th floor" Yui said as she grapple on to the building she pointed at "Keep up, Tatsuo"

"Right." Tatsuo said and grapples to the building and following Yui

They both make their way to the side of the building. Yui landed first and place a breaching charge on the wall while Tatsuo on his way said "Breaching in 3.... 2.... 1..." then clicked the detonator and the charge explodes, making a hole in the wall. Tatsuo entered first as he is still grappling and just went straight to the hole and Yui follows along.

"Clear." Tatsuo said and detached his grappling hook

"Nice entrance." Yui said and detached her grappling hook too

"Thanks, let's focus on the mission" Tatsuo said as he prepares his silenced pistols

Tatsuo and Yui walks silently through the halls as they pass empty rooms

"This building looks... deserted." Tatsuo said, walking silently

"It weird... It must have at least some guards guarding this person of yours" Yui said

Tatsuo and Yui reached the room the person of interest is supposed to be in "Okay... We take him alive. Got it Yui?" Tatsuo clarifies the plan to Yui "Yeah yeah, got it" Yui replied and prepares to breach as Tatsuo prepares to kick the door "3....2.....1.... BREACH" Tatsuo shouted as he kicks the door wide open and Yui entered first looking around inside then Tatsuo followed along

"Uhh... Tatsuo.. We got a issue" Yui said in a somewhat disappointed voice "Your person is not here"

"What?? No no no. That can be. He should be here. The intel says that he is here" Tatsuo claimed and started to look around "Damn it. There's got to be something that leads to him"

Tatsuo and Yui desperately looks for intel about the person but Tatsuo found something else.... "Yui??.... We need to go.. now" Tatsuo said as he found a timed bomb in one of the drawers that he is searching "Yui.. the building is rigged with bombs" Tatsuo slowly backs up and grabs Yui by her right hand and ran towards the hole they made earlier

The bomb timer ticks zero and the bomb explodes behind them as they run through the hallway towards the hole. Tatsuo looks back and noticed that they gonna get caught with the explosion because they aren't fast enough. Tatsuo gets an idea "Do you trust me Yui?"

"Should I not??" Yui replied as Tatsuo throws her towards the hole

"Tatsuo!!" Yui shouted as she got thrown outside the building

Tatsuo grabs something from his pocket, something round with a button on the side. He pressed the button and the round thing turns into a shield and he used it block the explosion behind him, sending him out of the building.

He free falls and tries to cushion his landing with the shield as he bumps into many obstacles from other buildings. Eventually, he reached the bottom, making a small crater.

Yui follows him and tries to save him but fails too. She went to him and saw him all bumped up

"You okay??" Yui concernedly asked as she removes her mask and Tatsuo's mask

"Yeah.... It's nothing *coughs*" Tatsuo replied while coughing

"You got a piece of steel in your abdominal area" Yui said as she points on the metal shard

"Just a flesh wound *coughs*" Tatsuo replies

"Yeah yeah" Yui said as she pulls the shard out "ARGHHH f**k" Tatsuo shouts in pain "Just a flesh wound huh?" Yui jokingly asked and puts bandage on Tatsuo's wound "Come on, we need to get out of here" Yui said as she helps Tatsuo to stand up "Let's go to my place" Tatsuo said as he looks up on the building they were in moments ago

(30 minutes later)

Both of them entered the apartment. They went inside and Yui puts Tatsuo down in a chair

"Just rest for now" Yui said as she stretches her body around "You are very heavy by the way" Yui complains

Yui grabs the first aid kit and hand it over to Tatsuo

Yui: So, did you find anything useful back there?

Tatsuo: Nope. It exploded before I could find anything

Yui: I can't believe they rigged the building.

Tatsuo: By the way, are you sure your person that gives you the intel didn't double cross us?

Yui: Him? He wouldn't

Tatsuo: How would you know?

Yui: I know him for a long time

Tatsuo: Hmm..

Tatsuo removes the bandage and stitch his open wound. Yui went on the kitchen and looks for food

Yui: You got no food here?

Tatsuo: I haven't restocked. There's some noodles in the cabinet though

Yui: NOODLES?!?!?

Tatsuo: Yeah

Yui grabs some noodles and prepares the utensils. As Tatsuo prepares the table and Yui is cooking, someone knocked on the apartment door.

Yui: "You expecting a visitor?"

Tatsuo: "Honestly.. No"

Tatsuo prepares his g*n and points it at the door and Yui slowly approached the door

Tatsuo: "Be careful"

Yui: "Yeah"

Yui slowly turns the door knob and open the door slowly as possible and peeked through it and she saw someone.....

???: "Ummm.... Your pizza is here"

Yui: "Goddamn it, It's just the pizza. You ordered pizza??"

Tatsuo: "Ohhhh yeah i did. I forgot, sorry"

Pizza Delivery Guy: "Ummmm.... sorry to disrupt your conversation but i got more deliveries to do sooo..."

Yui: "Ohhh right right sorry dude"

Yui opens the door as Tatsuo hides his gun

Yui: "Sorry about that. How much for the pizza?"

Pizza Delivery Guy: "Two silver coins"

Yui pulls out her purse and grabs a gold coin "Here, keep the change" Yui said as she smiles

Pizza Delivery Guy: "Ohhh thank you very much ma'am"

Yui: "Your welcome"

She closed the door and looks at Tatsuo "You owe me two silver coins" Yui said while looking at Tatsuo sharply "Yeah yeah, thanks Yui" Tatsuo replied and puts his g*n on the table. Yui puts the pizza in the table and grabs a slice

Yui: "This is actually a good pizza"

Tatsuo: "See?? They're good"

Yui: "The noodles done by the way"

Tatsuo: "Put it here dude"

Yui: "Yes yes"

Yui puts the noodles in the table and sat down with Tatsuo

Tatsuo: "So what is the plan now?"

Yui: "I don't know, we just need another intel. Also be careful the noodles is hot-"

Tatsuo: "ARGH, yeah it's hot"

Yui laughs at Tatsuo seeing his dumb face getting burned "HAHAHAHAHHA"

Tatsuo: "Yeah yeah funny"

"Just in, the suspect on the robbing in the museum of arts has been identified. The suspect is Theodor Lykor. The police did a background check on Theodor and they found out that he was a ex-worker in the Locustom Inc. The building that were exploded moments after he escaped from the museum. The police are looking for him, as of now he is no where to be found. Theodor is a 30 years old man living in the south area of Chromatica, he stands at a height of 5'11ft and has military training background. Be careful everyone, if you see him. Immediately call the police and stay far away from the suspect" The Radio in the room announced as Tatsuo and Yui eats. Tatsuo stands up and turns off the radio and sat back to where he was just before.

Yui: "Tatsuo. Noticed something?"

Tatsuo: " What?"

Yui: "We might have our next lead"

Tatsuo: "Lead? You mean intel? "

Yui smack Tatsuo's head " It's the same thing i***t"

Yui: "Anyway, remember what it said on the radio? Specifically the building that blows up?"

Tatsuo: "Yeah?"

Yui: "Its the building the we breached into"

Tatsuo: "Ohh s**t, you're right"

Yui: "And this Theodor guy is an ex-worker of the company that owns the building"

Tatsuo: "So.."

Yui and Tatsuo: "We need to find this guy"

Yui: "There you go, you get it"

Yui: "But let's rest for now. We need to be exact of his position before we go after him"

Tatsuo: "Yeah, we'll plan this out"

Yui: "Right, Lets rest for now"

Tatsuo: "Yeah... Yeah"

They both finished eating and cleans up the table. Yui rests on the couch while Tatsuo is cleaning the dishes. Night time is almost near, Yui is deeply asleep in the couch while Tatsuo is on the kitchen, researching and finding more info about Theodor. He stayed up till 3 am until he decided to go to sleep. He grab a blanket and puts it over Yui and went to grab his mattress and puts it besides the couch and went to sleep.

The morning arrived, Yui wakes up and prepares breakfast for the both of them "Tatsuo, wake up" Yui said as she chops some vegetables. She noticed that he didn't heard her so she approach him and gently shakes hi body and says "Tatsuo, wake up dude". Tatsuo wakes up seeing Yui right in front of his face which made him blush for a moment until he shakes it off and move back

Tatsuo: "Ohhh, Yui"

Yui: "Good morning"

Yui says Good Morning with a smile which made Tatsuo blush a bit more

Tatsuo: "Morning."

Yui: "Come on, get up. We got a lot to discuss but first, help me on the kitchen"

Tatsuo: "Ohhh yeah sure"

He shakes off the thoughts about Yui and gets up, makes his bed and went to the kitchen to help Yui. They prepare the meal and sat on the table

Yui: "Thanks for the food"

Tatsuo: "Thanks for the food"

Both of them proceeds to eat

Yui: "So, found something useful about our guy?"

Tatsuo: "What do you mean?"

Yui: "Tatsuo, I've known you for over 10 years now. I know you did at least some research about Theodor last night and besides, I found some papers earlier. So don't play dumb with me"

Tatsuo: "Oh yeah, I found that a lot of things but I'll just mention the important ones"

Yui: "Go ahead"

Tatsuo: "I found that he used to be in the military. In just 19 years old, he joined the military and stayed there for almost seven years so he is one deadly person considering he has a military background. I also found that he has a son that have cancer. Maybe that his motive to steal. He also have technological knowledge. Basically he can use and hack almost all gadgets we ever know.

Yui: "He is somewhat a genius I see"

Tatsuo: "Well you can call him that"

Yui: " Anything more useful than that?"

Tatsuo: "Well, i got some good news. I saw this cctv footage from the museum, obviously I hacked their system. I noticed that he got shot. So as of now, he is injured"

Yui: "Same to you then"

Tatsuo: "Shut up"

Yui: "Hehehehe"

Tatsuo: "Anyway, the final good news is I have his last location reported to my phone"

Yui: "You hacked his phone?"

Tatsuo: "Yeah, but it seems like he broke his phone so we have to bet on the last location for now"

Yui: "Yeah, Its better than nothing"

Yui: "So where is this last location?"

Tatsuo: "I got the coordinates here and It says he's been in North Chromatica, in Ruinberg"

Yui: "Okay, that's gonna take a while before we get there"

Tatsuo: "Yeah, prepare your stuff. We'll start tomorrow"

Yui: "Tomorrow??!!? Come on, lets at least rest for 2 days"

Tatsuo: "Yeah. Tomorrow. Final"

Yui: "Fine"

Yui pouts and walk towards her things and prepares them. Tatsuo cleans the table and washes the dishes

"I'll go for a walk, stay here and guard the house" Tatsuo said then he grabbed his walkie-talkie and went outside. He change the channel to the police channel.

"Be advice, there's a car chase happening right now at West Chromatica in Blightfall. All free officers are required to join the chase"

"Another car chase, what a lovely day" Tatsuo said as he enter the elevator and pressed the number one

As he walks out of the elevator, his phone rings. He answers the phone and it was Yui

Yui: "You left your-"

Tatsuo hangs up when he saw a lady getting robbed. He immediately approaches the robber and swipe kick the robbers leg and he punched the robber in the face, knocking him out. Tatsuo grabs the purse and gives it to the lady

"Be very careful around this part of the city ma'am. You should at least have one companion with you" Tatsuo calmly said to the lady as he hands her the purse

"Thank you for the help, young man" The lady replies and walks away

"Welp, I think she didn't understand me" Tatsuo said and sighs

Tatsuo checks his phone and saw Yui's 18 missed calls. " I didn't even felt the phone when she was calling" Tatsuo noticed that the phone is on silent " Ahhh that's why"

He tries to call Yui back but a group of man approaches him and covers his face with a sack. Tatsuo drops his phone and got carried into a van and drives off the street

"Tatsuo?? You there?? Tatsuo?? Tatsuo?? Hey everything alright over there??" Yui asks over the phone that Tatsuo drops in the sidewalk
