My vision blurred slightly by the time I made it back to the condo. Sebastian hit harder than I remembered. Blood pulsed hot beneath my cheekbone while pain throbbed steadily through my jaw with every step I took. The fight started stupidly and ended worse. He'd set me off by accusing me of ruining women’s lives and I nearly threw him through the wall of the shack. Apparently neither of us knew how to communicate like civilized adults.
