As she left him standing on the corridor, his shock morphed into anger. He was taken off guard and didn't expect her reaction yet a peer of him knew that he deserved it, especially with his lack of control when he held her back. He looked at the hand he used to grip her wrist.
He wondered how despite being so strong she could be so delicate. Her wrist looked so small that he was able to envelope it so easily.
He stopped himself from going any further with his thoughts.
Something about her knowing made him feel uneasy. He went back to his room to take a bath, one more thorough than in the hotel. Once he was done, he stepped out of the room and walked to meet her outside the hall.
