The moment an hour came. He cane out of the entrance and waited for Irene. They were to meet with the elders every new week which passed. They were already supposed to have met the elders and time was ticking.
Ten minutes passed and she didn't show up.
As though summoned, the rev of a car rang and soon he saw one of the pack cars driving towards the building before stopping. Lo and behold out stepped Irene.
"You're late." He pointed out pettily. He knew it was petty of him but he hadn't gotten her back for her snark earlier.
She didn't even bother to acknowledge him. "Let's get this over with" she grunted out.
