"He Is Only A Bad Memory"

The nightmares are starting to take a toll on my rest to the point that I don't even want to fall asleep. I find myself doing things that I normally would not do. Like going to the biker bar for a drink and meeting Stacy.  She doesn't like to sleep either because of her own nightmares. "Okay are you sure you want to try this ??" Stacy asks me. "Ya I'm sure as long as it helps me stay awake like you say. " I say as I shake my head yes. "Okay darlin just watch what I do Okay??" She asks as she takes out what looks like a nectar collector and puts it together then adding water. "Wait dabs only knock me out." I say looking at hear confused. "Alright maybe this is a little to advance for you. So here will take these pills instead." She says taking a time-release capsule out of her bag and handing it to me will taking one and swallowing it with her drink handing me the drink so I could do the same. I swallowed a pill and just look at her curious says what's it supposed to do in about 15 minutes later my heart is racing at all I want to do is dance. Stacy and I are on the dance floor dancing and going so we can hear each other over the music a guy approaches Stacy and they proceeded to dance off together leaving me dancing alone in the center of the Dance Floor surrounded by people that I have no clue who they are. A really good-looking muscular man comes up behind me and starts to Sway With Me and before I know it we are not just swaying together but are now grinding on each other. The guy snakes one hand behind me grabbing the back of my neck and other hand grabs one of my brest. I try to pull away causing the man to grab tighter on to me. " Let go now !!" I say. He nods head no so I do the only thing I can . "Wrong Answer buddy." I say as I punch him in the throat, knee him in the balls finishing with a knee to the face breaking his nose and walking away as the man lay bloody on the floor. "Damn girl , that was a bit much don't you think ??" Stacy asks catching up to me as I head out the front door to get some fresh air. "He should of let go like I said." Was my reply as I got outside and took in a deep breath of fresh air. I made it about 20 steps before I could feel my knees give way as the memories started flood in my mind and the tear's started to fall down my cheeks.  I waited for the pain to come my niece hitting the ground but it never did instead I felt myself being studied as I could hear the last voice I expected to. "Alright baby girl, it's alright. He's nothing but a distant memory now. I made sure of that. Now let's get you home. Stacy I'll drop you off on the way and bring you to pick up your car in the morning when you're ready just call." "Yes sir" she replays fallowing close behind my father and I as he leads me to my parents van and buckling me in. 

  Next thing I know is the feeling of my little girls hand playing with my hair as her little voice is sternly keeping all at bay. "If you wake up my mommy I will beat you up like my papa said mommy did that bad man last night." She said warningly as I hear my father's laughter from somewhere in the room. Opening my eye's I see Stark wide eyed and slack jawed starring at our daughter perplexedly. "You alight there big guy ??" I ask with a bit of a laugh. "Ooooh, that's it !!" My daughters hands leave my hair as her little body leaps over my head to attack her father only to be caught midair by my fathers arms. "Alright my little firefly I think it's time to give mommy and daddy some time alone so they can talk." He says to my little protector as he carried her out of the room. 

Stark slowly climbs into bed next to me wrapping me in his arms. "So .... I hear you left Jaxson laying on the ground all beat up last night??" He says kissing the top of my head. "Is that the creeps name ??" I ask looking up to kiss him on his chin. I should have known he'd already have the creeps name. "Yes, he is the second in command of the death keeper's gang and a man who thrives on taking advantage of females who are to wasted to comprehend what's going on around them." He Tell's me. "Your father as well as mine and myself are all to proud that it was are girl to put him in his place." He says with true pride filling his voice. "Does that mean there will be trouble from there gang ??" I ask a bit worried. "No, you see his boss has six daughters and in no way approve of his tactics for picking up the lady's. He will get demoted to a lower member, a rookies passion, of the gang. His uncle has assured his punishment will be great and sends his sincerest apologies with an extended invitation to dinner whenever your feeling up to it." "His uncle ??" I ask. "Also his boss." He replies. "Oh, I see." Is my reply as I nuzzle my face into his neck and slowly begin nibbling , sucking and kissing down his neck. The growl that erupts from his chest and throw his throat sends shivers throughout my entire body leaving pleasant tingles in there place.
