EPISODE 11: "Another Sad Day"
As I reflected on our ordeal, a sense of sadness washed over me once again. Tragedy struck when Eboo and Kojo were found shot dead in Eboo's car, parked in the apartment's car park. They had left early that morning to meet with our lawyer, as he had requested.
Now, only two of us remained: Emmanuel and myself. Our fear intensified, and living in the base became even more unbearable.
Our lawyer, sensing our vulnerability, arranged for us to leave the base and stay with him until the ordeal was over. We relocated to his apartment, which was conveniently located far from the base.

The hearing commenced, with Mr. Eduaful representing us. The grueling proceedings spanned ten days. Our lawyer requested Madam Grant's presence, but Officer Greg blocked her testimony. I knew she held the truth.
In a stunning twist, Officer Greg burst into the hearing, gun in hand, and fired at Emmanuel and me. Emmanuel lost his life, while I suffered a crippling injury, confining me to a wheelchair.
Officer Greg and ten implicated military men were arrested for the brutal killings of my friends. Following their arrest, Madam Grant confessed to the committee.
Officer Mensah was subsequently arrested, revealing a dark web of deceit. It emerged that Officer Mensah had impregnated Madam Grant, Officer Greg's wife, who refused to abort. In a desperate bid to conceal his actions, Mensah brutally beat Madam Grant, destroying the pregnancy.
Madam Grant was arrested for her false allegations. I was left to ponder the cruel irony: we had lost everything trying to save a dying woman.
