Chapter 09

1154 Words

My heart is pounding when a big black car appears at high speed and crashes into that guy's car. “Damn!” he shouts as the crash happens. He speeds off and disappears. “Are you okay?” Henry gets out of the car and runs toward me. “Come here!” he says, hugging me. My God, what kind of man is this? What a pleasant smell! I can feel his large, warm body against mine. I'm already crying uncontrollably; he takes me to his car. I can see the concern in his eyes. I cry so much that I end up falling asleep. I only wake up when the car stops. We're in a garage, but not mine. It's his. “I didn't want to wake you, and I don't know where you live.” I consider resisting, but I can't reveal where I live. I can't risk him knowing the truth before I sign the divorce. “But if you want, I can take you.”
