"Of course, I'll be your girlfriend," Henry gives me a piercing look as I leap into Pedro's arms.
"Liz, just—" I give him a peck before he can say anything else and blow my cover.
"Come on, my love," I say as I let go of Pedro.
"But... Oh! Of course, my love," Pedro says when he realizes my intention.
Pedro takes my hand, and we head toward the exit of the hallway.
I look back, and Henry is still watching us leave.
"Do you still feel something for him, Liz?" Pedro asks.
