~NYX My heart skipped a beat as I glared at Raven. "What?" I remembered my first roommate. I barely got to say a word or two to her because I had been more worried about getting the money for my tuition fee. Perhaps if I had paid more attention to her— perhaps, if I had listened to Diana and done something— searched for her, she might have still been alive. I felt the color drain from my skin as I somewhat felt responsible. My wolf stirred with worry and that new consciousness within me also shifted uncomfortably. "A dead student?" Calanthé exclaimed and this tore me out of my thoughts. "Where did you find her?" Raven turned his gaze back to her. "Dumped in a river. She was dead before she was dumped there. Whoever killed her wanted to cover it up and make it look as if she drowned."
