"Now that we have confirmed Raven is safe, will you finally get some rest?" I asked as I stared down at him.
He nodded slowly and fell back into his bed. But he did not shut his eyes. Instead, he stared intensely at me as if he wanted something.
It made both my wolf and Una shift.
"What is it?" I asked softly.
"Stay with me, by my side. It will help me sleep," he whispered.
I parted my lips at him. I had hoped that I would be able to get back to my detention before Calanthé noticed I was gone. But I guess it was now impossible thanks to his demands.
