I glared at Rylan with wide eyes.
Did this boy not know when to stop? He was beginning to turn into an obsessive ex and I felt as if it would become unhealthy for me in the long run if I did not deal with him now.
"Nyx..." He cried and raced over to me.
Before I could react, he bent over and hugged me.
I froze.
From the corner of my eyes, I saw the way Diana balled her hands into fists before storming out of the room.
"Oh dear," Levi muttered yet Rylan did not seem to notice any of it.
My body remained frozen and not even my wolf who had started reacting more often lately— made any reaction.
"I was so worried about you," Rylan murmured. "I thought that I was going to lose you for real this time."
