I stared down at Nyxoria's now fallen body in shock. Blood was flowing out her nose and mouth.
Yet my body still trembled from the sudden authority which she put on me. I balled my hands into fists until I could barely feel the blood in them.
What just happened?
Absolutely no one had the power to put me under their authority yet this little woman managed to do that for a few seconds despite the stubborn beast within me.
If I had not acted fast, then she could have killed me. I was still too shocked to break out of my thoughts as I stared at her and replayed the events that just happened.
