I had seen Nyx black out before.
It was ugly. Which was why I needed to go after her right now. I knew I was the last person she wanted to see. I admit that I got carried away and I couldn't resist seeing her everyday so I went for it without thinking and kissed her— she probably hated me even more.
But Nyx was my best friend even if she would not acknowledge it. I needed to look out for her and make sure that she was safe.
