I narrowed my eyes as I glared back at her.
The fact that she had the audacity to raise her voice to me before all eyes showed that she and I needed to have a conversation.
After all, she was the one with everything to lose. I could always get what I wanted in school. No one had the right to kick me out, neither was there any law that could keep me away from wherever I wanted to be.
"Watch the way you speak to me, Nyxoria. . ." I warned calmly.
She balled her hands into fists and I could tell that there was anger in her eyes, a different anger from that of hitting her best friend as she had referred to him.
Knowing her uncontrollable anger, it was better to let it go before she unleashed her anger upon the world for the second time today.
