I smile and greet the alpha families that started to arrive soon after Nate and Ava found each other. I am truly happy that my little sister got the best birthday gift in the world. Her mate. Though in normal circumstances it may seem weird to be with someone that was just with your best friend a few days ago, but for us werewolves it can be a normal thing.
Besides I am sure as good heart and caring as Emma is, she made it clear to Ava herself that she would be extremely happy about both of her friends finding their true mates. I will not lie and say that I am a little jealous, but I will not let that little green monster spoil my sister’s day. My wolf, Xander, and I have been waiting for our mate faithfully and truly.
