Hunter’s POV
I felt so relieved. My mate wants me. She is willing to accept me even with all the unanswered questions that we still have yet to find the answers to. I lift her hand to my lips and place a gentle kiss on the back of her hand.
Then Marcus’ phone starts ringing. He slides it out of his pocket and looks at the caller ID. “It’s Leo.” He said. Leo was his duke and his best friend in the vampire kingdom. Marcus answered the call and put it on speaker.
“Hey there Marcus. I think I found something that could be important for your girl.” Leo’s voice came through the phone. “Go ahead Leo, you are on speaker.” Marcus said. “Okay, you know how you said that Emma and Layla share the same birthmark?” He asked. “Yeah. We are also running a DNA test here in the Mystic Shadow pack.” Marcu
