A Concord fighter's blade cracked against Kane's own so hard his arm went numb.
"Fall back!" Cassius yelled, pulling two hurt fighters clear of the fight.
The battle had not stopped just because the dark light was calm now. Concord forces still pushed hard at the coalition line, trying to break through toward the cave entrance again.
Kane cut down the man in front of him and turned fast. "Talyn! Get Sarai and Wren back, now!"
