Chapter 6:
Everything around me was blue. My eyes search around thoroughly for the beast that had been howling tonight. I feel a nice warmth despite the cool breeze, as my body carries me forward. I didn't know where I was going nor what I was doing, I just really wanted some answers. Looking behind me, I see wolf prints forming. Drool falls from my mouth causing my eyes to follow. The prints being left behind were mine. The fur being shed was mine. The claws, the sharp teeth, the constant growl, all me.
I wasn't running away or in search for the beast. I was the beast.
My paws halt in front of a familiar home. No! It can't be. I think to myself. I scream and shout, but nobody is able to hear me. I wasn't consciously in control of my body or where it decided to go right now. The beast within me was. I try to fight her, but tonight the full moon appears to be giving her dominance over me.
She moves towards the door of the home. I try my best to make her turn around and flee, but she's too strong for me.
Suddenly a light turns on inside the house. No...
"Who's out there!?" A stern voice questions. The beast growls louder and prepares to attack. "I have a weapon! Stay back!" The voice warns. Please don't come out here, I beg to myself. Please stay inside.
The door flies open and a gunshot erupts filling the quiet woods with its loud and sharp sound. My eyes shoot up and I feel them ring uncomfortably. My entire body tingles alert, feeling like it is in danger. The last thing I see are her big boots full of mud before everything around me fades to black.

"How did he find her?" A voice questions. "I don't know. It's a good thing he found her when he did though. That place is crawling with police officers." Another voice retorts.
"That's a relief, if he wouldn't have brought her here, those officers might've tracked us all down. That wouldn't be a good look for us. They're probably searching the area now. It is a full moon after all." The first voice expresses.
I groan. "QUIET! She's waking up." Someone announces. Another groan escapes my lips as I open my eyes. Adjusting my blurry vision I see a bunch of unfamiliar faces.
"What's going on? Where am I?" I ask rubbing my aching neck. My eyes fall down to my body. A gasp instantly escapes my lips.
"Wha-" My eyes widen in shock realizing my body was only covered by very a thin blanket. "Once you turn to wolf form your clothes sort of...get lost in the process." A guy cuts me off answering my question. Of course I had no idea what he was talking about.
"What?" I express my confusion. He chuckles lightly. The rest stare at me, some in awe and others in confusion as well. I hold onto the blanket that supports my coverage tightly.
"I'm Willie Crew." He introduces extending his arm out. I take it. He helps me up. The unfamiliar faces surround me. "Whisper. Whisper Armstrong." I introduce. "Awesome. This is the pack. The rest are around here somewhere." Willie states motioning to the the small group surrounding me. They smile and wave. "Hi." I greet forcing a smile.
"I-I'm sorry." I apologize. "It's alright. I know you're confused. This seems to be your first transformation." He notices. "I-What?" I question clearly still puzzled.
His runs his fingers through his curly blond hair. "We're werewolves." He informs. "And it appears you are too." He continues. "One of our own apparently found you passed out somewhere and brought you back to our site. Due to the full moon you clearly had your first turning. It's okay to feel confused, we understand this is a lot to process all at once." He explains.
I stare at him speechless.
"I'm not a werewolf." I assure. Willie laughs, along with some of the others. "You're naked in an unfamiliar location with no trace of how you got here. Your memory can not seem to piece together the last few hours of your life and you are covered in dirt and mud. Trust me you are definitely one of us." He assures.
I examine my hands and feet. I had dirt under my finger nails and splinters on my feet. A few scratches cover my arms and legs. My skin was filthy and bloody. I looked like I had been living in the woods for a century and had just been found by civilization.
"We've all been where you are right now Whisper. We get it." Willie speaks again. I look at him and the others who agree genuinely.
"But I can't be." I refuse. "I have a life. Like a real life. A normal one. I've always had a normal life." I think out loud.
He shrugs his shoulders. "Things change."
"So you're all humans with the ability to shapeshift into wolves including on full moons?" I ask for a final clarification. "That is correct." Willie confirms, his brown eyes sparkling.
I'm a werewolf? This is insane. I mean I guess that makes sense, and explains a lot. Werewolf? Really?
"Do you have any idea who your pack could be?" He questions. I look at him not knowing how to answer as a million other thoughts swarm inside my head.
"She belongs to us." A raspy and demanding voice answers.

Everyone's head snaps towards the owner of the voice. He was tall and muscular. His jet black hair effortlessly rested at the top of his head neatly. His brown eyes were serious as he walked confidently and powerfully.
"Give her some room." He orders. His voice sends goosebumps to my skin as I watch the people move away in obedience. He was clearly an important figure in this pack. Everyone seemed to respect him, fear him even.
A girl and two other guys walk beside him just as serious and confident. The girl had green eyes and wavy dark brown hair that hung down her shoulders. She was gorgeous and intimidating at the same time. You could tell she worked out.
One of the two guys had blonde hair pushed back to his head and blue grayish eyes. The other guy had brown hair also pushed back from his face and bright hazel eyes. They were both tall and muscular as well. It appears every male was built that way in this place.
They all seemed to share the same style in clothes and appearance. Strong, built, some with tattoos, others with weapons on their waists. arms, and or legs. Ripped tank tops, dark pants, boots, bandannas etc. They reflected a group that knew how to survive out in the wild and that was always ready to fight.
"So I see you've met most of the pack." He notices and smirks slightly. I gulp some saliva down. "Willie have you showed her around?" He questions. Everyone looks at Willie except him and the three beside him. The girl examines me with her arms crossed. I try not to stare at her back.
"Yes." Willie answers. "Whisper this is our Alpha: Shawn Cage." My eyes shift back to Shawn who smiles at me in an unregenerate way. "Our Beta: Chase Rae." They move towards the blond male with blue grayish eyes who offers me a seductive smile. "Our Omega: Emmett Cullen." Next to the brunette who made no effort in reacting towards me. "And one of our best female fighters: Veronica." Finally my eyes stop at Veronica who remains serious as well, similar to Emmett.
"Take her to her tent." Shawn orders turning around after the introduction ends. Emmett separates himself from them and leans on a nearby tree. Chase and Veronica turn around and walk with Shawn. "Actually I can't stay." I announce. I hear a few gasps and whispers. Shawn halts and slowly turns around to face me. Chase and Veronica mimic his actions. Emmett's eyes find mine for a split second and I realize I did something I shouldn't have.
"You are tonight." Shawn declares. "I have to get back-" "You have to stay on the low tonight." He interrupts his voice growing louder.
"These areas are extremely dangerous tonight. Filled with humans that can potentially discover our existence. I can't have you roaming around putting the rest of my pack in danger." He spits.
"I'm not going to tell any one about-" "It's not about that!" He argues glaring at me. "You're one of us. That automatically traces you back to us." He states.
"Who confirmed she was one of us again?" Veronica speaks for the first time. "I can feel it." Shawn confesses.
"So what I'm hearing is that there's no proof." Veronica challenges in a dull and snarky tone. Shawn steps towards me ignoring Veronica. My eyes furrow in confusion and my feet push me back further. He continues to walk towards me until he is only inches away from me. The hairs on my skin shoot up and my eyes lower to the ground.
He breathes calmly. "Let me see your stomach." He orders. "What? No!" I quickly refuse. He snatches one of my arms and grips it tightly. I hold back the gasp in my throat trying not to react.
"I wasn't asking you. I am telling you. I suggest you show me yourself, so I won't have to yank that blanket off your entire body." He warns through gritted teeth and daring eyes. My eyes roam the space and watch as the pack watches Shawn and I.
My eyes finish off on the arm Shawn gripped tightly. "Okay." I accept trying to yank my arm free. He smirks when I can't get out of his grip and releases me with a strong shove instead. I groan losing balance and fall to my knees.
Willie quickly runs towards me. "Don't." Shawn stops him. "She wants to talk back to the Alpha, she can get up on her own." He states.
Willie offers me an apologetic smile. I look away and close my eyes for a second. Sighing I get back up and show everyone the left side of my stomach. Shawn approaches me once again. I hold the blanket tightly up to my chest.
Shawn's smooth and cold hand comes into contact with my skin. His thumb circles around my waist and moves towards my stomach. My heart beats rapidly against my chest as his touch brings unpleasant shivers to my entire body. I watch as he examines my stomach closely.
What the hell is he looking for!?
He finally removes his hand and steps to the side. "You see? She one's of us!" He announces. The pack gasps and demonstrate expressions of shock and realization. Chase watches with a smirk plastered on his face and Emmett watches intensively, yet still serious. Veronica tries to remain the same, but rolls her eyes in response.
Why are they reacting this way?
A flash of blue catches my eye. "Oh my God." I say witnessing the blue feather print glowing on the side of my waist.
"She's part of us. She's part of the Blue Feather Pack." Willie establishes in awe as the rest continue to stare at the glowing blue that had magically appeared on my skin.
"Now! Who the hell marked her?" Shawn questions in a demanding tone.
