Ava The Borup Family Melinda had underestimated the amount of traffic there’d be. Hannah lived in the eastern area of Joplin, and the closer they got, the worse the devastation. Melinda drove down 32nd Street, aware of the gasps of shock coming from her children. She pulled out her camera and snapped a few photos of the destruction. She turned down Range Line and almost stopped the car. It was like a bomb had exploded beneath the street, destroying everything aboveground. The sight stunned Melinda. There were people and cars everywhere. Home Depot, Target, Walmart…it was all gone. Pedest
