So let's give you the details of who I am. My name is Ava Towell and I am 20 years old. I currently am trying to finish my junior year of college in the field of zoology. I am a werewolf and my wolf Lilly is quite the character but I love her to death. My parents Live in Hawaii running a pack my grandfather left them. The packs called The Luau Pack, I know such a cleshay but i guess it gave the ability to say the pack name anywhere since it was a common word to use on the islands. Anyway, I have a siblings Josh he is 24 years old and also resides in Hawaii with my parents as the future packs Alpha. He is currently in Alpha training in Washington so I see him when I or Lilly need a run. Remember when I said the closest forest was 2 hours away well that is in Washington so in reality a whole state away. I love chocolate, reading and writing, art and love- love to sing. I can't remember a time music was not apart of my life but let's be honest most people enjoy music. Lilly loves to wolf out to music and at times I use it to calm her down when she is upset with me or the world. At a young age my parents told me I would have an ability or power that should develop around my 21st birthday. So I don't know if my dream was just a dream or a vision of what's to come.

Maryjane was my oldest friend but she doesn't know that I am a werewolf but my friend Quinn does but that is due to the fact she is a werewolf from another pack, but we get along well enough and understand each other better than most. Guess you can say that we have something to bond over. Unlike me she is taking her time in school and even goes looking for her mate when ever we have school breaks by getting permission from neighboring packs to do so. She Turned 21 about 6 months ago and cannot wait for her life to start with her mate. She told me her ability or power is controlling air. I am excited to see how far she has come into her ability so I convinced her to go with me this weekend to meet my brother and give me a display of her ability.

My Brother Josh has Yet to meet his mate and like me he is not in a rush to find her last I checked. He said that the lady love him so he will enjoy it while he can before being tied down to one woman for the rest of his life. Not that he has a choice in the matter since he will be an Alpha he will have to find his mate before he takes over. It is unheard of that na Alpha run a pack without a Luna. now don't get it wrong there are packs out there that do only have an Alpha but it was rare that they do not find their mate with in a certain amount of time once they take over a pack. I think at times that Quinn could be my brothers mate for the simple fact that they are so alike hints another reason i was determined to take her with me on my next run. I know I am not in a rush to find a mate but am willing to push it on my brother but in terms of reality I don't want him to have to settle for someone he accidentally impregnates. See Werewolfs will not let their pups be raised separate from them but will not take the pup from their mother either. So in Other words they make a commitment to that she wolf and mate with them instead of finding their true mate. Which is not a big deal for if they can have pups they are compatible mates. They may not feel the same as when you are with your true mate but it still would work out once they have completely bonded.

My mother used to tell me i would know when i see my mate, but never told me how i would know. So like a mother to give such vague details I only ever heard "ohh you will know trust me on that." like really thanks mom btu i know for a fact that my mother and father told my brother what he needed to look out for when he found his mate but asked him not tell me the details. I have tried asking him over the years hoping that he would slip up but he always said "sis i cannot tell you and i think you should just wait." and I would reply "easy for you to say you already know." Josh always had a sad face after we would talk about this knowing i like to be prepared for things and most likely my family avoided telling me so I would not avoid my mate.

Usually at 18 alot of wolves find their mate but for me and my family we have to wait until we are 21. My mother said it is due to our special ability that comes at 21.
