Elijah had just opened the door to Petree’s room when he heard voices softly speaking. Elijah didn’t want to interrupt the leader of the clutch speaking with the doctor, but it would be rude to eavesdrop. He had every intention of going out until they were finished, until he heard what his brother was saying.
