Jory’s bottom lip trembled and Hron could see large tears forming in the small man’s eyes, but not falling. It was as if the poor guy thought how happy he was to see his best friend alive and well, but unable to accept that what he was seeing was real.
Abe took the tray from Jory, softly saying, “Why don’t you go say hello to Pea. I know he has missed you and Nug like crazy.”
Suddenly Jory was racing towards Petree with his arms open wide and Petree had his own opened just as wide, catching the little man with a grunt.
