Chapter 21
Jane sits down at the corner of shelf I-43, looking around to make sure that she's completely alone. She especially loves times like this, when most of the students have gone home, having this corner to herself. No prying eyes, no disturbing giggles, a place where she can be herself. She takes out her notebook and begins to work on her novel. Where was she again? Ahh, when the heroine finally met her captain hero.
Cassy shielded her eyes from the blinding lights, her heart pounding in her chest. Fear striking her heart. She was prepared to be taken. Prepared to meet death.
