Chapter 44
Jane nervously waits for Bob Taylor in his office. He is supposed to meet with her regarding the manuscripts she sent him the other week. Today he decides if she is worthy of being a published writer and of being a part of W Publishing. He has called her off in his office, and she overhears him telling his secretary that he should not be disturbed. Jane feels nervous at that. Bob Taylor seems like a big guy around here and looks like he decides which author makes or breaks it. What he is going to tell her must be serious and confidential enough. Before he can even ask Jane to sit on the couch, he is interrupted by the shrill ring of the phone.
