Chapter 52
“So what did you do at school today?” Jane asks Eddie as they head out of D’Angelo School.
“I’ve learned different shapes and colors, which I already know.”
Jane has to laugh at this. Eddie is too advanced for his age, and he keeps whining about not learning something he doesn’t already know.
“My music teacher isn’t in school today. He said he needs to go to another place for a few days,” Eddie pouts.
He has always been talking about his music teacher, whom he adores so much. Eddie is showing a promising talent in music. It reminds her so much of Aaron.
“He’ll be back before you know it, I’m sure. He’ll surely be missing you, too.”
Eddie grins, “Yes, he said something similar. Mom, can we go to the park? Please? Just for a while. Can I ride a bike?”
Jane checks the time.
