“Elixa, wait!” I called after her.
Chief Xander tried to stop me, but failed. It took me a while to catch up to her. As I ran, I continued to call her name, but no matter what, she did not slow down or look back at me. I finally caught up to her when she was near the docks. I was somehow able to get in front of her and block her path.
