The White Province

Skyla froze, staring at Keith with a complicated countenance. Her inevitable sad face was suddenly replaced by a slight smile that made Keith quite amazed.

Keith even wondered why the system voiced that the mission was complete when Skyla hadn't believed him yet. He was utterly dazed. And also, he just gained a hundred Core Fragments!

'That was huge?!' Keith thought, confused.

Was this why he was asked to get a gorgeous female servant? To get much Core Fragments by spending time with her? Keith couldn't just make himself believe this. He was shocked and excited at the same time.

However, Skyla's surprised gaze was still on him, so he had to skip his excitement for now.

"W–what do you mean by that?" Skyla asked, still with that complicated look of hers.

Keith heaved a sigh...

"Yeah. I do know how bad you feel, and I want you to take me as someone who wouldn't hurt you. You are going to be my queen, not my servant," he said.

Skyla felt her heart beating fast, it was as though she was in a dream world at the moment. Her eyes began to get blurry all of a sudden as she couldn't hold staring right at Keith's eyeballs. But the question to ask at the moment was... Is Keith really himself right now?

Keith, of course, had opposed the system's concept of him getting a sexy servant after The Postings. The same Keith would curse angrily when the system spoke those lustful words, clenching his fist in anger.

But now, that Keith was no more. His act suddenly changed at this moment... He didn't even know how he had let out the other statement to her. All he could know was that he found himself doing these things which he couldn't stop even though he tried.

All in all, Keith didn't know that the Immortal Mage System already had total control over him. No, he didn't.

Skyla kept looking at him, so shy and afraid to say a word. As expected, Keith didn't know when he grabbed her both hands and made her stand up from where she sat. At this point, Skyla was on the verge of stumbling due to the uncontrollable fast heartbeats in her chest.

Keith produced a slight smile. "Feel relaxed Skyla, I'm not gonna dare to hurt you," Keith assured, "like I said, you are my queen. And that... That fort right there, wouldn't be your place of duty but your home."

Keith promised with a convincing expression as he looked at her, pointing westwards. Why he had pointed to the left was because they had arrived at The White Province already, right at Awakened Keith Rotunda's Fort.

However, Skyla just couldn't say a word... She was totally shy, no doubt, but it was clear at this moment that that sadness in her had been whipped off. Even if she didn't dare to let out a smile, Keith could sense it in her.

And perhaps, that's why the system has rewarded him so quickly. She was at least, relieved.

After making up for the shyness for a long moment, Skyla decided to produce a smile. Seeing this, silly Awakened Keith also smiled. The poor chap actually didn't know what he was doing. He could see himself doing it though, but he couldn't just sense that he was doing something that was against his will.

"I'm Skyla." Finally, Skyla had to say something.

Keith muttered:

"Yeah... I know already."

Skyla looked at him in surprise and questioned:

"Huh? How?"

"Names of servants are included in the papers..." Keith handed over the papers to Skyla. "Skyla is a beautiful name anyway."

Skyla only took a short look at the papers and smiled in response to Keith's compliment. "Thank you," she thanked after a slight grin.

Keith nodded, and after this, he switched his gaze to the west... In view was the luxurious expanse of The White Province... The heart of Premier Territory. At the very beginning section of the area was a huge fort — about three hectares wide.

It was Awakened Keith Rotunda's fort.

Keith smiled... He sighed also, the relief he had was something that couldn't be explained. Keith felt his heart at rest, fear and uncertainty suddenly being swept off his mind. Right now, he just couldn't wait for the airship to descend.

But truth be told, Keith's first time on an airship wasn't a bad experience at all. After all, he owned it and was surely going to ride on it countless times.

Within three minutes, they landed right in front of the main building of the fort... However, Keith was surprised as Skyla dashed out of the airship without even making a hesitation.

'Damn, did she just forget that I'm her... Oh... I'm not anymore.'

Keith muttered within and followed suit.

The expanse of Awakened Keith Rotunda's fort was just totally comparable to a football stadium. At the left, a triplex home stood strongly on seemingly four plots of land with its brown roof giving the luxurious building its complete glory.

A combat training building could be seen by the right about a few meters away. It was built just with the normal Japanese style with seven different sections in it. All in all, it was just like a sword training domain.

At the backside of the fort, a group of tall beautiful trees could be noticed, casting a huge portion of chill air that ensures relaxation around the fort. And beneath, on the ground, were fresh green grasses that beautified the atmosphere.

Both Keith and Skyla could sense the wonderful aura of this fort, and being frank, they were both pleased to be there.

Even though Skyla was used to this kind of environment due to being from a rich home, she was happy to be here... Just because she wasn't actually going to live like a slave, but like a queen in the palace.

A systemic voice sounded as Keith opened the golden door of the building. However, Keith could sense that it wasn't the Immortal Mage System. It was just a technology system that had been fixed in the house.

"It won't matter if I disable this thing, right?" Keith asked Skyla while staring at the object which the sound had came from.

"Why would you do that?" Skyla asked, stunned.

"Because it looks useless to me," Keith replied.

"Your choice anyways, but as the quee..." Skyla stammered in shame, "I—I will advise you to leave it right there."

Keith's face produced a slight smile. "Very well then, let's go in," he ordered. And boom, Mr. Immortal Mage System sounded...
