“Did I hear correctly?” Duke exclaimed as soon as Eliana left my car. “You are getting married to her? I’d think it’s just your delusion but she didn’t oppose it.” His voice portrayed his surprise. I hadn’t told him and George yet about the trip to the lake house or the fact that we were getting married.
