William paused and slowly arched an eyebrow at me. I immediately felt embarrassed. I sounded like a jealous girlfriend.
“Right about now.” He murmured and brought out his phone to book a cab. I turned to the side, looking out the window the car zoomed away from the building. Why did I say that out loud? “And done…”
I gritted my teeth. William was doing it on purpose. From their interactions, I could tell my boss admired him. She wanted him but I wasn’t so sure how William felt about her. It didn’t exactly seem like he liked her but he was entertaining her which was somehow worse.
