The chief sighs at Khethiwe.   “ Yes, this is a great opportunity for us. …but at what cost Khethiwe. ”   The chief shakes his head with a disappointed look on his face.   “ We can't send her back like this.  Take her to the Indoda endala hut she might feel more comfortable there. And request that he treat her wounds.  Send food as I doubt feed her .”   He glares at Khethiwe knowingly as if it is expected of this cold beast. Khethiwe does not deny this. Only bows as his face remain unreadable. “Yes, my chief” He turns around and slithers out of the hut with me in his arms. The Chief accuses  Khethiwe of not see me as an equal yet during all of this not once did he speak to me. He defends me but still treated me like an object.   I don’t know how to feel about this.
