While River and Vera were the only ones who really knew about the Lush Experience itself, Karena was in the know enough to know I was dating again. It evened out though, since I couldn't tell them most of the details, no matter how much Vera begged me to spill everything.
“I can't believe you're having us help you pick out date clothes, but you won't even tell us about your date!" Karena squealed.
“Dates," River corrected. “As in multiple."
“Uh, yeah, I got THAT part! But literally everything else is a mystery, and as much as I love your books honey, I don't need that mystery right now. I need the deets. The drama. I want to live vicariously through you—and River and Vera who apparently know what's going on."
Karena gave them a slightly betrayed look before she spun her finger around
