The carriage finally came to a halt after a couple of hours, and it was obvious we had left the Crescent pack.
"Out!"
A voice commanded, and quickly opened the door for me.
Considering my size, I struggled to crawl out of the door, just as I got in.
My body vibrates in pain.
"Where's this place? Who bought me?"
I bellowed, trying to act tough.
But the men looked at each other and burst into laughter.
"You want to know who bought you?"
One of them asked mockingly.
Now I stood like a dumb fool, lost in confusion as I tried to make sense of what was funny.
"Where are you taking me to?"
I cried as one of them pulled the chains towards a wide path.
His face was so tense, and aside from the foolish laughter, I noticed he hadn't said a word since they captured me.
"Ha, ha, ha, you'll soon find out who bought you. "
The younger one sounded. "And where is this place? This is the Star Moon pack."
The mention of the star moon sent a wave of fear over my body as I began to connect the dots concerning why they might be laughing.
"No, don't take me there."
I begged, dragging my body backwards, hoping to run for my dear life.
"Ha, ha, ha, it's too late, omega. Julius owns you now!"
Their voices thundered in my ears. And in a matter of seconds, the men had dragged me into a cold dark room and shut the door.
I lay helplessly, the stench of old urine and rotten food hung in the air and over my nose.
I could literally see smoke dancing from the coldness of the room, and all this sent shivers to my spine.
"Newest addition."
Julius' voice landed, and I shivered.
This was the worst nightmare any werewolf would want.
Julius was a notorious leader in the star moon who enjoyed buying slaves and turning them to w****s.
His stories were told far and wide, his victims were always fed intoxicants and other numerous bad stuff which knocked them off for days to be conveniently r***d without interference.
His hands caressed my upper back, and the stench of alcohol became heavier.
"Please let me go-" I managed to whimper, my body vibrating violently.
But I felt a sudden whoop over my neck and his fingers struck deep into my mouth.
I attempted to scream, but he pressed my mouth closed immediately, making me gulp the harsh substance he poured into my mouth.
I couldn't tell what it was, but it was in a thick liquid form and didn't taste like anything I knew.
He reached for another scoop but the door stormed open.
"I warned you not to ever buy more slaves, Julius."
A voice roared in the dark room.
The owner of the voice spoke with so much command and authority.
I looked up immediately to see the figure at the door. Now he walked into the room and began to unlock the chains on my limbs.
The sweet smell of his cologne entrapped me, sweeping off the deadly stench of the room.
His dark blue eyes, masculine build and poking biceps were evident.
"But, Alpha, I thought you permitted me one last time."
Julius protested, and suddenly began to look innocent.
But the man didn't reply, instead he focused on undoing the chains.
Just then, I realized he was Alpha Oliver, Sane's arranged mate. But I had started to feel dizzy, my body responding to the substance Julius fed me.
I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and slowly began to pass out.
The Alpha lifted me up and began to walk out of the room not saying another word to julius.
I noticed he had walked into a very beautifully decorated room, but I was now too sedated to know what was happening.
I felt a masculine grip on my thigh and the hand ranked through it.
A hard chest was pressing against my back, and the heaviness of his breath on my back caressed me.
My eyes opened immediately, and a creeping fear enveloped me.
I stared over the large bed like a lost fool, numb with disbelief.
And to my chagrin, the only thing I had on was a tiny piece of linen which hung over me.
"Oh s**t!"
I exclaimed and jumped up from the bed, blood was trickling down my thighs.
Stains were on the bed, with a strange man lying beside me, deep asleep.
"Oh goodness!" I howled.
Slamming my hands over my head and rolling my eyes to figure out what had happened, but nothing was coming to my mind.
"Who the hell are you?"
I growled, but my breath was quickly cut shut at the sight of the figure's face.
It was as if my heart stopped beating for a while, and I couldn't tell how to react.
My head spinned the more I stared at him.
How on earth did I get in bed with him? Thought he had genuine intentions to save me?
I yelled inwardly, trying to gather my clothes that were ripped on the floor.
"This can't be!"
I muttered. They were torn into pieces and there was no way I would leave the room wearing that.
My mind ran through so many things, but nothing was coming to it. I couldn't even wake him and question him, he was far beyond me.
I ran to the closet immediately and pulled out one of the shirts, and on turning to put it on, a firm grip held me by the back.
"You didn't tell me that you're a thief."
His baritone voice came, sending cold shivers down my spine.
I stood transfixed at the spot, shutting my eyes in fear. The Alpha just caught me trying to steal his shirt.
He pulled me towards him, caressing my neckline, and his hands running down in between my cleavages.
"You should have told me you loved shirts, and I would have given you them freely. "
His voice sounded again, and I became a bit relieved, because it was obvious he was more interested in making love than malice.
The memory of last night flashed through my mind and I flinched.
I had obviously gotten sedated, and he took advantage of me.
"What do you want?"
I whimpered, as I shook in fear.
"More of you in my bed."
His voice was too tempting, but it wasn't enough to stop me from freezing.
He was my stepsister's betrothed for guts' sake!
My body quivered with each caress. He tried to pull me to bed again, but when he saw that I was vibrating violently, he tossed the shirt back to me, and dashed into the bathroom.
"Oh goodness!" I screamed as I slugged into the big shirt. "Sane will kill me!" I cried.
My hands were struggling to keep in place as the adrenaline rush overtook my system, but in a matter of seconds I had worn his big shirt and I took to my heels.
My legs ran as fast as they could carry me, and my lungs shut down.
What does this mean?
I had asked myself repeatedly as the thoughts tormented me.
He was supposed to get married to Sane the next day, but I had just jumped off his bed.
I nodded emphatically as I made myself promise to forever keep it a secret.
But where was I even running to? I was now a slave in the Star moon pack, and going back to Julius was the last thing on my mind.
I scouted to the woods, hoping to stay there and process my thoughts, but my heart took a sharp skip when Sane's voice yelled from a distance.
"She has seen me!"
My heart cried as my legs quickly became too heavy for me to carry.
"What was she doing here this early?" I asked inwardly, but her eyes widened as she sighted the shirt I saw putting on, and her legs drew closer.
"What's that delicious scent?" She howled, pulling me closer and began to sniff me.
"And what's that on your neck?" She yelled again and her eyes widened immediately while she froze at the spot.
"No you didn't...no...no!"
I was lost and hadn't realized what she had seen that would scare her that much.
Sane was never scared of anything and anything that would evoke such reactions from her would be serious.
My heart was already beating against its chambers. Placing my hands on my neck, I felt some marks on it, and I screamed.
"I have been marked?-- by who?"
I rolled my eyes as they met Sane's dreaded gaze.
She was staring deep at me like she had died and gone to hell.
"He was supposed to mate me, not you!"
She yelled.
Immediately, she landed her hands on my cheek, and I fell carelessly to the floor.
"That's the royal mark on your neck slut! And that's the Alpha's shirt!"
She groaned, casting her legs further to my face not minding where it landed.
I couldn't fight back because I was scared to my bones and felt defeated.
Sane didn't believe me, but I was lost like her because how on earth did Alpha Oliver mark a low life omega like me?
She pulled my hair and dragged me into the house, crashing me on the floor before the Alpha's parents.
I've overheard my father talk about how much he loved Sane.
According to him, she was the daughter they never had.
Now I watched the great Xavier's deadly gaze scrutinize me.
I saw the terror on his face rise and his eyes made a quick turn.
He stood from his seat and moved to meet me where I was laid helplessly like a rag, with his eyes tempting to pierce my soul.
"Call the Alpha now!"
