I turned towards the door immediately, but no one was there.
And when my hands ran over my body, there were no more wounds.
I ran to the mirror immediately. To my surprise, I was now looking normal.
I had no cuts whatsoever, neither were my eyes blazing black.
I sank on the bed, wondering what was going on with me.
How did I manage to get those wounds, the blazing? And who comes to heal my wounds all the time?
I sat up, pulling out the jewelry I had, about to dash into the bathroom.
I didn't have any more time. I was meant to make my first appearance at the grand function this morning by 10am and it was already 9am.
I didn't know I had slept this much.
As I stripped off the remaining pieces in my under, and about to make my way to the bathroom, I heard a click on the door.
Fear sprang over me, I had forgotten to lock the door.
But the sight of the Alpha sent a soothing caress over me.
He was the only man who's presence had such dominance on me.
His face had a warm smile on it, and I could tell that face was more interested in making love.
He reached to me, holding my hands while I melted at his gaze.
His hands flung over my soft pulp, and after he made a gentle squeeze, he began to caress them.
"We're going to be late." I muttered lightly.
"We own the function, we can go whenever we want."
His voice shuts me, and his mouth circled over mine.
Gently, my back fell over the queen-sized bed, while his tongue danced over my skin.
He stood up immediately, and began to pull off his clothes and in a matter of seconds, he was inside of me, while I cast loud moans over the room.
I watched him dress up immediately, still smiling.
"Go get ready, my Luna." He smiled, and I found it strange that he would call me that.
Was he not the same person that had just warned me yesterday not to lay my hands on him?
I must admit, Alpha Oliver's attitude towards me hadn't been consistent.
Sometimes he would yearn for me, tell me sweet things like I was all that mattered, but other times, he would repulse me.
I stood up immediately, still confused about what he truly wanted.
"Go wash up." He finally said, after admiring my curves for some more seconds, then using the door.
I dashed into the bathroom immediately.
I must be quick if I don't want to be late.
It was already 9:30 am, and I didn't trust Alpha's assurance that we could be late, because what if he switches on me again?
I was eager to wash up and run out, but my hands froze as soon as I looked into the mirror.
My eyes were blazing black, and my body was beginning to ache.
Again? I howled, nothing was making sense anymore.
I stood under the shower for just a few seconds before running out to wear my clothes.
A long black dress was on the bed already before I woke up, so I just slid into it.
I didn't know how things operated here, but it seemed there were workers who chose Luna's clothes or something.
I was about to dash out of the room, when I saw a note on the bed.
I didn't hear the door open while I was bathing, and I was very sure Oliver didn't leave any notes.
"You absorbed. Alpha's curse, come to the constellation, I have a cure for you."
It read.
My eyes narrowed, confusion plastered over me.
I can only remember the Alpha talking about a curse, but I have no idea what it was, or what it means to absorb, or even why I would be the one to absorb it.
I paced around the room, my hands hung on my waist.
My eyes were blazing black and there was no way I could leave with it.
"Should I tell the Alpha?"
I asked inwardly.
After a while, the only conviction I had was to go to the constellation.
Glancing over the wall clock, I still had thirty minutes before the function.
Every pack had a constellation where you go and check the newest findings and I learned the in starmoon had theirs at the central pack.
But what if it was a trap? A thought struck me.
But I was Luna.
Yes, Lunas enjoy certain privileges, and no one dared to hurt the Luna in her pack. I believed I was protected as long as my crown was concerned.
As I dashed out of my room, the maids bowed to me in reverence.
It felt strange, but that was my life now.
I didn't want to take the palace car as I wouldn't want Oliver to know I had stepped out, so I left alone, hoping to get a taxi.
But a few minutes on the road, I felt a strong rope circle over my legs, and my hands followed immediately.
My chest flew to my mouth, as I fell to the floor.
"Who are you?"
I whimpered to the presence behind me, my heart throbbing so fast.
"I knew you'd fall for it."
