"Oh my!" I cried as blood gushed from the heads on the floor.
The sight sent shivers over me.
"This is gory" I muttered, eyes shut immediately, but the sight didn't stop playing various scenes in my imagination.
"Are you Okay?"
A masculine voice asked after he ran back to where I was tied like a goat, panting, he said "one of them escaped, s**t!"
"Oh, you're hurt. "
He said, his concerned eyes running over me.
My eyes were still shut, while I shook like a leaf.
"You're in safe hands now, and you can open your eyes."
He promised.
I struggled to open my eyes, body still vibrating terribly, and the first thing my eyes saw was the most charming eyes I had ever seen.
His blue eyes ran over me in concern, making sure to convince me that he was totally harmless.
His hands flew to the ceiling immediately and in a matter of seconds I dropped to his body, my hands hurting.
"You're bleeding so bad."
He reached towards Amy's body on the floor and tore some pieces from her dress, and tieing my wounds, he kept on asking me if I was okay.
I nodded lightly, my body entrapped with mixed feelings.
Sane wasn't lying with the dead bodies, meaning she had escaped, and I didn't know how to feel about it.
She was my sister, and also someone that wants me dead, and I'm confused if I should be happy she's still alive or not.
"Where do you stay?"
His voice came again, pulling me back to him, "I can take you there."
"I stay at - at ."
I stammered on purpose.
I didn't know who he was and considering what I just went through, it was better I didn't trust him.
"Okay, I can call my driver to come drop you at your place if you want to. You're badly injured, you need hospital too."
He suggested, but I didn't respond.
All the while he spoke, I got these thoughts that I had heard his voice before.
Even his smell, or was it my thinking?
"You can trust me, you're in safe hands,"
"I'm fine, and I truly appreciate it. I can find my home from here." I managed to say.
We were already at the door of the large building and now I could see clearly.
They had brought me to an abandoned house which had broken doors and windows, with ugly paintings over the wall.
"What if the one that escaped catches you again?"
"Oh, yes."
The mention of sane sent another wave of fear over me.
And then I realized it would be foolish if I allowed myself to get kidn*pped again.
"I stay at the palace."
I muttered, determined not to reveal further.
"Okay, I'll take you there."
He lifted me off the floor immediately, "ugh!" My heart leaped, "I'm sorry, we need to walk fast, you're getting weaker."
I nodded, my head sank in his chest, and his sweet scent entrapped me, while he carried me to his car.
"Why did they do this to you?"
"They're simply jealous of me."
I muttered.
"Do you know them?"
"Yes. I do... I.."
I paused, realizing I wasn't supposed to reveal much.
The man understood I didn't want to share and he just nodded slightly without further persuasion.
"My name is Damian Thorne. I'm from the Star moon pack."
I just nodded lightly.
We got to the car and he ignited the engine immediately.
Shortly, we were at the palace gate, and I gently got out of his car.
He watched me leave after I thanked him, and I was surprised why he didn't bother to ask for my name or how we would see each other again.
I guessed my countenance wasn't welcoming.
I tiptoed into my room, after I made it into our chambers.
I was bleeding terribly, but I didn't want to wake Oliver.
He was definitely going to howl at me for disappearing minutes to the function, and I didn't have strength to listen to all that that night.
As I took off my clothes, I intentionally left the door open, this time beckoning on whoever my healer was to come again.
I turned to the wall, against the door just like the way he would want me to.
I stayed, drenched in excruciating pain for about 30 minutes but he was nowhere to be found.
Quickly I sat up, cursing myself for being foolish.
I couldn't possibly be waiting for a stranger to miraculously appear each time I'm wounded.
I walked to the wardrobe to pull some clothes, prepared to go to the clinic, but I felt hands close my eyes and mouth immediately.
"Shii!" It commanded and began to do his magic.
I obeyed, I would be a fool if I didn't.
I hadn't processed the things Sane told me, but first things first, my wounds had to heal first.
Shortly he was done, and just like always, he left the room.
As I walked to the door to get it locked, I felt an obstruction, and legs stopped the door "where have you been?"
Oliver's voice came, his dark eyes attempting to devour me.
