Chapter 12October 7th “We lost,” I said, balancing my cell phone between my shoulder and my head, hands occupied by typing furiously away at a write-up for psychology due the next morning. I was angry at having not been there to hear the outcome of the hearing, angry that it hadn’t been in our favor, angry that on top of it all I had homework to do.
