Chapter 16November 23rd “I’m glad you could make it!” Mrs. Fuentes greeted me at the door. She was long and lean like Jessa, and her movements were always smooth and graceful. She had her long black hair pulled back in a braid that hung down the middle of her spine and swung like a pendulum when she walked. I was mesmerized by it as I followed her into the house.
